主讲人简介：Nicholas D. Jackson，2006年博士毕业于美国锡拉丘兹大学。2007年独自撰写的专著Hobbes, Bramhall and the Politics of Liberty and Necessity（《霍布斯、布拉姆霍尔、自由政治与必然性：内战及空位期的争论》）在剑桥大学出版社（Cambridge University Press）出版，2011年重印。目前他正在就17世纪明朝末年中英关系撰写一部专著，The First British Trade Expedition to China, 1637（《1637，英国在中国的第一次贸易探险》）。
